Photography

Photography plays a very personal role in my practice. To me, my camera is like an old and trusted friend, someone with whom I can share my thoughts and memories and explore the world. That is not to say that I don’t have strong opinions on contemporary photography and image-making, particularly at a time when advanced technology is rapidly changing our entire perception of photographic image-making. In a time of rolling revolution the serious photographer must decide where they stand and what they stand for. My stance is for the integrity of the image. Not to do so would mean that my old and trusted friend would be a false friend, a friend no more.
