Photography

In contrast with sculpture and ImageSculpture, photography plays a quieter, much more intimate role in my work, acting as something of a counter-balance to the frequently rather intense nature of my other areas of practice.   However this does not imply that photography plays secondary role.    On the contrary, photography is very special to me as a powerful tool for creating and communicating as is the pure pleasure of capturing images with the camera.

I have put together a collection of monochrome images entitled “My World In Black and White”  the majority of which have been taken in London or the Chilterns, both areas with which I have close connections and associations.   However, I have also included a selection of images of people and places encountered further afield which have given me a great deal of pleasure and I hope they will for do the same for you.
