Landscape

Landscape.   “The Chiltern Hills project”.   Images from the Desborough Hundred, an area of 45,337 acres of hilly chalk land and beech woods, north of the town High Wycombe, a busy historical town once the centre of the chair-making industry and where for centuries artisan chair-makers, known as bodgers, lived and worked in the surrounding woodland.  This is also the area where I grew up.  The refreshing beauty and tranquility to be found there is in stark contrast to the crowded, noisy, bustling city.
